Towards a Green Future

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the College of Political Science is organizing a student volunteer festival under the slogan “Together Towards a Green Future” on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

The festival aims to create a green environment and promote sustainable development in Iraq, supervised by Prof. Dr. Idhaha Noman and Prof. Dr. Nisreen Riyadh, with the participation of Master’s and Ph.D. students from all departments of the college.

The event will feature a photography exhibition, a painting exhibition, an interactive scientific presentation on desertification, pollution, and sustainable development in Iraq, as well as video reports on sustainable development conferences that focus on achieving a balance between human needs and environmental protection without harming the rights of future generations, and other scientific activities.
