The College of Political Science Secures Second Place in Quran Competition

The College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, secured second place in the Quran competition organized by the College of Science, with participation from students across various university colleges.

Mohammed Salam Aziz, a master’s student from the Department of Strategy, won second place in the competition, which featured 15 students representing eight colleges.

The College of Science had organized the Quran competition as part of its cultural and religious activities, aiming to promote the values and teachings of the Quran. Participants were evaluated by a specialized judging committee from the Quran Institute of the Holy Abbasid Shrine, assessing recitation rules, pronunciation, and performance accuracy.

Prof. Dr. Saad Dakhil, head of the Student Activities Division at the College of Political Science, stated that the event is part of the college’s student activities program, aiming to support students and develop their cultural, religious, and academic skills.
