The College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, organized a seminar on “Artificial Intelligence and its Role in Scientific Research”.Under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha B. Al-Saeedi, the research unit hosted the event, featuring lectures by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali A. Kadhim and Asst. Prof. Dr. Hind S. Mahmoud, on utilizing AI in research. The seminar aimed to highlight AI’s impact on research development and digital applications’ importance in supporting researchers.Recommendations included incorporating digital ethics into curricula, training staff on AI tools, forming AI ethics committees, updating instructions, enhancing digital sovereignty, and building regional and international partnerships.
