A master’s thesis discussion was held at the College of Political Science, University of Nahrain, on the thesis titled “The Reality of Social Environment and National Security in Iraq after 2014: The Relationship of Influence and Interdependence” by student Mohammed Jameel Nasser.

The discussion committee consisted of:

• Assistant Prof. Dr. Istibrak Fadhil Shaheer (Member)
• Assistant Prof. Dr. Zaid Hassan Ali (Member)
• Assistant Prof. Dr. Mustafa Farouq Majid (Member and Supervisor)

The importance of the thesis stems from its discussion of the importance of the social environment and its role in national security in Iraq. The thesis aimed to identify the main causes of security repercussions and the most prominent ways to address them.

The main finding of the thesis is that the opportunities for achieving national security in Iraq are increasing due to the cohesion and solidarity of the community and the consolidation of the concept of national identity.”
