The master’s thesis by student Ahmed Yassin Abbas, entitled “Geopolitical interactions and their impact on realizing higher interests in Iraq after 2003,” was discussed in the hall of the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University. The discussion committee consisted of the gentlemen whose names are listed below:

The thesis aimed to study the geopolitical changes that Iraq witnessed after 2003, and to analyze the impact of these changes on defining and realizing the supreme interests of the Iraqi state. The letter reached important results, including that regional and international interactions played a decisive role in shaping Iraq’s internal and foreign policies,
