The importance of the study lies in highlighting the successful experiences of newly independent developing countries that were able to build states and achieve sustainable development. Therefore, we chose the subject of the study: state-building policies and their impact on sustainable development in Korea and Singapore, to determine the negative impact of state-building policies on achieving sustainable development. Or positively, because South Korea and Singapore are considered among the most prominent success experiences in the field of nation-building and sustainable development in the century.
