sports course

A sports course under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Student Activities Division in the college organized a specialized training course in sports for people with disabilities for the Special Needs Department at the Iraqi Army Club. The course was part of the Sustainable Human Development Program and the role of the college and university in society, and included trainees from the Universities of Baghdad and Al-Nahrain.

Dr. Saad Al-Dakheel, Director of the Sports Activities Division in the college, said that the two-day course included scientific lectures on medical and functional classification in athletics for the disabled, sports psychology, sports training science, sports management science, motor learning, and testing and measurement.

He added that the lectures were presented by competent professors, coaches, and players from the Special Needs Department. Training certificates were distributed to the participants at the end of the training course
