Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, the respected Professor Dr. Osama Mortada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies held a scientific symposium entitled “The Impact of Labor on Political Stability and Sustainable Development,” today, Tuesday, 1/14/2025, in the Ambassadors Hall.
A group of college and department professors participated in the symposium by presenting a number of papersResearch, along with His Excellency the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Al-Asadi, who was one of the main lecturers at the symposium.
The symposium discussed the impact of labor on political stability and sustainable development, highlighting its risks and negative impact on the political process and societal construction. Employment risks were also discussed and ways to confront them were presented, with a set of recommendations presented to address these challenges and reduce their negative effects.The symposium was attended by the esteemed Dean of the College and a number of distinguished professors interested in political and social affairs, and it contributed to providing a comprehensive vision on the issues raised
