(Scientific Symposium)

Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Strategy Department organized a scientific symposium titled “Iraqi Response to Cyber Threats.”

The symposium featured presentations from several experts, including Dr. Murad Abdul Samad, a member of the Iraqi Cyber Response Team, who discussed the Iraqi cybersecurity strategy. Professor Dr. Ali Faris Hamid presented his views on “National Response to Cyber Threats: Necessities and Determinants.”

Assistant Professor Dr. Anmar Ali Ibrahim presented a paper on “Security Transformations in the Strategic Environment: Cybersecurity as a Model.” Lecturer Dr. Sadef Muhammad Kamel presented a paper titled “Strategic Determinants of the Iraqi Response to Cyber Threats.”

The symposium included various discussions and opinions that enriched the topic.
