Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, the respected Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the research unit held a scientific symposium entitled (Political and Strategic Challenges in Confronting Epidemics: Towards Sustainable Global Health Policies), on Thursday, 2/6/2025.
The session was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Solaf Musahib Mahdi and the rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Mufaz Ibrahim. The researchers discussed the most prominent political challenges andThey reviewed the most prominent historical milestones that accompanied the world's exposure to many of these epidemics and the policies that were followed to confront them. The researchers identified a set of strategies that can contribute to building sustainable health policies.
