a lecturer at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, published a research paper entitled “Maritime Navigation Security in the Middle East in Light of Regional Crises: The Strait of Hormuz as a Model” in the Iraqi University Journal.The research addresses maritime navigation security in the Middle East, taking the Strait of Hormuz as an applied model, as it is a vital artery for oil trade and global supply chains. The strategic maritime passage is directly linked to the Iranian role and regional balances, making it vulnerable to increasing security threats and risks. The research also focuses on the repercussions of direct threats such as closing the strait, seizing tankers, and drone attacks on energy supply chains and the stability of the global economy.
