A lecturer at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Assistant Lecturer Qasim Mohsen Alwan, published a scientific research entitled “The Impact of Virtual Communities on Political Systems” in Issue 79 of “Political Issues” magazine. The research addressed the rapid development of means of communication and its impact on the emergence of new virtual communities that play a fundamental role in shaping public opinion and enhancing political participation.The research aims to expand scientific understanding of the relationship between technology and politics and provide new insights into how virtual communities influence political structures. The results will help provide recommendations to the government and decision-makers on how to deal with the growing effects of virtual communities and enhance their use in promoting democracy and political participationIt also explained the study and analysis of the impact of virtual communities on political systems and how they contribute to the formation of political public opinion, political participation, and the practice of democracy. It also seeks to provide a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of how virtual communities affect political systems, which helps guide future strategies and policies to enhance political and democratic stability
