A lecturer at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Riyad Mahdi Al-Zubaidi, published a joint book with the teacher, Dr. Rasha Suhail Muhammad Zaidan, entitled (Contemporary Transformations of Power and Their Impact on the Future of Nation-State Sovereignty after 2010: Selected Models), published by Hatturk Printing, Publishing and Distribution House in Erbil.
The book deals with the transformations in the concept and uses of power from the traditional concept of hard power to forceTo soft power and then smart power, and the effects of these transformations on the traditional concept of the national sovereignty of the state, while dealing with applied models in the political, economic, social, security and military aspects.
