Published teaching at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, M.M. Ghufran Jassim Jabr, published a scientific research entitled “The Energy Relationship in the Management of International Conflicts: The Nord Stream Gas Pipeline,” in Al-Qadisiyah Journal of Law and Political Science, Issue 2, issued in September 2024.
In light of the escalation of the relationship between the state of conflict and competition over energy resources, the strategies of many countries have begun to deal with energy issuesIts security and the development of its own infrastructure, as well as the formation of a joint energy system, are major geopolitical factors that determine the state’s influence and the extent of its influence. This study addresses the Nord Stream gas pipeline as a geostrategic project, and its economic importance for Russia and the European Union countries, especially Germany.
