Published teaching assistant professor Dr. Zainab Abdullah, at the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, conducted a scientific research entitled “The American Strategy in Controlling Energy Resources Between the Caspian Sea and the Arabian Gulf Regions,” in Issue (36) of the Tikrit Journal of Political Science dated September 30, 2024The research focuses on the American strategy to control energy sources, especially in the Caspian Sea and Arabian Gulf regions, and reviews the connection of this strategy with the geopolitical and economic policies of the United States.
The research demonstrates the importance of the Arabian Gulf region because it contains the largest oil reserves in the world (such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait), making it a key focus of US policy to ensure stable oil flows.
