Al-Bayan Center for Studies and Planning recently issued a joint study by Professor Dr. Imad Salah Al-Sheikh Daoud and Saif Dhia Deir entitled “Economic Migrants: An Engine for Development or an Earthquake that Shakes the Foundations of Political Systems in the Gulf Countries?” The study examines the role of migrant labor in the Gulf countries and its impact on development and political stability in the region, with a focus on the challenges and opportunities facing these countries in light of the increasing numbers of immigrants.
