Professor Dr. Israa Alaa Al-Din Nouri, a lecturer at the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, published a research paper titled “Women’s Political Participation in Iraq after 2005: Challenges and Strategies for Advancement.”

The paper was published in the seventh issue of the Women’s Studies Journal, issued by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Iraq Institution for Culture and Development.

The research explored women’s political participation and the growing role of women in various fields of political and social life, highlighting their significant impact on public life, whether in science or the workplace.

As a result, the importance of their role has increased on economic and social levels, leading to their involvement in political activity. Women have entered the field of politics and have managed to establish their presence on the political scene in many countries.
