Asst. Prof. Siraj Muhand Munir, a lecturer at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, has published a book titled “Geopolitics and Russian Strategic Performance: Return to Regional and Global Dominance” by Amjad Publishing and Distribution House in Amman, Jordan.

The book explores Russia’s strategic performance geopolitically, regionally (Syria) and globally (Ukraine), attempting to restore its position as a dominant pole in the international system.

It discusses the interplay between geopolitical principles and Russian strategic performance, interpreting the relationship between direct (Ukraine) and indirect (Syria) Russian intervention through strategic employment, applied by Russia towards both countries.
