The Department of Political Systems and Public Policies, in cooperation with the Journal of Political Issues at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, organized a distinguished scientific lecture, entitled: “The strategic perspective for developing the mining sector in the Republic of Iraq.”
The session was moderated by Professor Dr. Imad Salah Al-Sheikh Daoud, Professor of Political SystemsAnd public policies at the college. The lecture was given by Dr. Khaldoun Subhi Al-Bassam, former Director General of the Geological Survey and Mineral Investigation, during which he reviewed the strategic vision for developing the mining sector in Iraq and its importance in supporting the national economy.
Dr. Muayyad Kased Jalhoum, a consultant at the Ministry of Industry and a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the House of Wisdom, participated in commenting on the lecture. He provided in-depth analyzes and ideas that contribute to strengthening the strategic plans for this vital sector.The lecture witnessed a distinguished attendance of academics and researchers, who praised the scientific presentation and the importance of the topic in promoting economic development in Iraq
