Lecturer Mahdi Ali Wada’a, from the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, published a book titled “Gulf Security After 2003” 📚.The book analyzes the Gulf region’s security post-2003, addressing shifts in regional balance, emerging threats like armed groups and terrorism, and navigation threats. It explores Gulf strategies towards the US and concludes that Gulf security shifted from “total reliance on external powers” to “multi-polarity and self-reliance”, amidst regional interventions and identity conflicts.
