Asst. Prof. Dr. Sura M. Jaafar from the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, presented a course on “International Agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, and their Legal Status” at the Ministry of Commerce.The course, attended by government officials, aimed to highlight the importance of international agreements and MOU’s, their legal framework, and differences in terms of legal nature, conclusion mechanisms, and obligations. It analyzed the state’s legal position regarding both, considering international rules and national legislation.
