Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Mortada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Department of International Economic Relations organized a field visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Foreign Service Institute on Tuesday 2/11/2025, under the supervision of professors from the department and an elite group of second and fourth year students.The delegation was received by Ambassador Professor Dr. Bassem Hattab Al-Tamah, Dean of the Institute, and a number of his assistants, where they were introduced to the details of the Ministry and its roles in international relations and economic diplomacy.
A dialogue session was also held on the Development Road Project and its impact on enhancing economic cooperation, which gave students the opportunity to interact with experts and benefit from their experiences.
At the conclusion of the visit, the institute’s officials expressed their welcome to the delegation, praising the importance of these initiatives in enhancing students’ practical knowledge
