On Sunday, November 27, 2024, a delegation from the Department of International Politics at the Faculty of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University visited the Department of Parliamentary Research and Studies as part of a scientific visit to introduce students to the mechanisms of research work and the department’s role in supporting legislation.
The delegation included a group of professors, including MsProfessor Dr. Shaima Adel Fadel, Professor Dr. Alaa Talib Khalaf, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohsen Hassani Dhaher, in addition to Assistant Lecturer Muntaha Ali Hussein.
The visit included a detailed presentation of the department’s tasks, including supporting legislation, documenting international agreements and decisionsAnd database development. The department's library was also highlighted, and the director of the department, Dr. Mayada, stressed its importance and its role in supporting researchers, noting its availability according to specific procedures.
At the conclusion of the visit, the academic delegation thanked the Research Department for hosting and good reception, valuing its role in supporting legislation and scientific research and enhancing cooperation with universities.
