“Field Visit

A group of professors and students from the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, conducted a field visit to the Ministry of Planning. The visit aimed to familiarize them with the nature of the ministry’s work and its programs in administration and planning. The visit also sought to introduce students to the important role played by the Ministry of Planning in supporting the government in drawing up public policies, preparing development plans and national strategies, voluntary reporting, providing official data and statistics on population, poverty, and unemployment indicators, and integrating Sustainable Development Goals into public policies, government plans, and national programs.
