External Participation

Dr. Sura Mowafaq Jaafar, a lecturer in the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, participated in discussing a master’s thesis by student Ali Yassin Samin at Al-Alamein Institute for Graduate Studies. The thesis titled “Chinese Strategy towards the African Continent after 2013: The Horn of Africa as a Model”.

The discussion committee consisted of the following professors:

The thesis analyzed China’s economic and diplomatic policy tools in Africa amid global transformations following the launch of the Belt and Road Initiative, focusing on the Horn of Africa as a practical model.
