External Participation

Professor Hadham Badr Hussein, a lecturer at the College of Political Science at the University of Nahrain, participated in the discussion of the master’s thesis entitled “The Poetry of Jawad al-Hattab: A Study in Light of the Sociology of Literature” by student Amna Raed Mazhar from the Ibn Rushd College of Education for Humanities, Department of Arabic Language. The discussion committee consisted of: Prof. Dr. Iman Muhammad Ibrahim, Member. Prof. Dr. Hudham Badr Hussein, Member. Assistant Professor Dr. Yusra Khalaf Hussein, Member. Prof. Dr. Taghreed Abdul Khaliq Hadi, Member and Supervisor. Jawad Al-Hattab is one of Iraq’s well-known poets, born in Basra and considered a member of the 1970s generation. He has several published collections of poetry. including “Peace Be Upon You, Poor People” , “A Musical Wreath on the Corpse of a Piano,” and “It’s the Homeland… It’s the Heart.” Most of his works have been translated into English, Italian, and German.
