Dean of Political Science Welcomes New Students

The Dean of the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, and department heads, met with newly admitted students in a friendly gathering organized by the Psychological Counseling Unit to welcome them and introduce them to the college’s academic system.

The Dean congratulated the new students on this important stage in their lives, emphasizing that university education is a period of acquiring knowledge, scientific research, diligence, and discipline.

The students received guidance on respecting the university and its premises through mutual respect between professors, staff, and security personnel, and were advised to cooperate, attend classes regularly, wear uniforms, and contact counseling staff if needed.

The Dean reiterated his welcome to the new students, wishing them success in their academic journey.

The students were taken on a tour of the college library to familiarize them with available academic resources and visited the computer lab to learn about its usage during their free time.
