Dean of Political Science Meets Graduate Students at the Start of the Academic YearThe Dean of the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha Baqir Al-Saidi, met with graduate students in both Master’s and PhD programs on the occasion of the start of the new academic year. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Abbas Saadoun Rifat, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Zuheir Jassim, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the heads of the scientific departments.The Dean extended his congratulations to the students on the beginning of the new academic year, wishing them a year full of diligence, hard work, and academic achievement. He emphasized the importance of adhering to university regulations and instructions, attending lectures regularly, and following up on academic and research requirements in line with the nature of Master’s and PhD studies.The meeting also included a number of key directives regarding the students’ academic and scientific path, with an emphasis on the importance of continuous communication with the academic departments and supervisors, commitment to rigorous scientific methodology, and making optimal use of the resources available at the college to contribute to raising the academic and research level.At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean reaffirmed the Deanship’s commitment to providing a suitable academic environment for graduate students and supporting their academic and research journey, in order to achieve excellence and scholarly rigor in the college’s outputs.
