A was held at the College of Political Science, University of Nahrain, to discuss the Ph.D. thesis titled “International Cooperation in Combating Transnational Organized Crime: Interpol as a Model” by student Aqil Nema Razi.

The thesis highlights the importance of international cooperation as a decisive tool in facing the threat of organized crime. It provides a political vision that analyzes the dynamics of this cooperation and the challenges it faces, focusing on the role of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) as a prominent model.
The thesis presents a “new theory” titled “International Cooperative Response Theory” and a “comprehensive classification” of forms of international cooperation and patterns of organized crime. It also provides a future vision for the future of this cooperation and the role of Interpol in it.
The study aims to:
- Understand the nature and dimensions of transnational organized crime.
- Analyze the dynamics of international cooperation in combating it.
- Evaluate the role of Interpol as a model for international cooperation.
- Forecast the future of international cooperation and the role of Interpol in this field.”
