College of Political Science Participates in the 3rd Job and Innovation Fair 2025

The College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, participated in the 3rd annual Job and Innovation Fair 2025, under the slogan “Your Gateway to the Labor Market and Creativity”. The fair was opened by the University President, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi.

The fair aimed to open up job opportunities for graduates by introducing them to the private sector, banks, and other fields. Private sector companies, such as telecommunications, banks, real estate development, and food companies, showcased their efforts to support graduates in a healthy environment ensuring a successful professional future.

The College of Political Science contributed by inviting 32 companies and banks out of 50 participating companies in the fair. The supporting committee at the college worked with the main committee at the university, including the Dean and his assistants, and several other staff members.

The college had previously organized a training and employment festival in collaboration with the Training and Employment Division at the university, targeting fourth-year students to prepare them for the labor market and train them on how to prepare a professional CV and succeed in job interviews.

These initiatives contributed to employing 48 graduates in companies, banks, and the private sector, as part of the “We Employ” initiative, supporting the academic youth and encouraging them to participate in building the country, in line with the Ministry of Higher Education’s efforts to
