“Blood donation”

In a voluntary initiative that reflects the sincere national spirit and promotes social solidarity, the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University organized a blood donation campaign. The college’s faculty members, led by the Dean, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, along with the college’s administrative and scientific assistants, Professor Dr. Abbas Saadoun Rafat and Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Zahir Jassim, and a number of faculty members, participated in the blood donation to provide blood banks and injured and sick individuals with the blood types they need.

The Dean stated that this drop of blood can make a difference in the life of a patient lying on a hospital bed, waiting for hope to live. He added that this campaign contributes to promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation and providing a stock of blood and its derivatives to support patients and those in need throughout our beloved country.
