Aqraa Cultural Festival

The College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, is organizing the Aqraa Cultural Festival tomorrow, November 20, 2025.

The festival aims to promote reading and highlight the importance of books as a source of education and enlightenment. Activities include poetry readings, a book exhibition featuring faculty and student collections, and an art exhibition showcasing students’ work on the importance of reading.

The event also features a musical performance by a student, aligning with the cultural theme. The festival seeks to revive interest in reading and books in an era dominated by technology and social media.
