(Announcing the results of the political essay competition for students)

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Sciences, Professor Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, the Arabic Language Safety Unit organized a ceremony to announce the results of the best political essay competition for students, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. The results resulted in three college students winning the best political essay, and they are:
The first winner was student Maram Mazen from the fourth stage for her article (Trump’s statements about Gaza: a political vision or an electoral maneuver).The second winner was student Muqtada Safaa from the second stage for his article (Democracy in Iraq after 2003).
The third winner is student Muhammad Hussein Habib Shabib from the fourth stage for his article (The Unity of the Squares and the Al-Aqsa Flood).
The college had announced a competition for the best political essay written by students in order to encourage them to write the political essay. A committee of college professors was formed and produced three articles that received the committee’s attention.
The winners received a bookThe Deanship of the College, as well as symbolic gifts, in order to encourage them to continue research, writing, and developing cultural skills in addition to academic study.
