A seminar on combating narcotics

A seminar on combating narcotics was held at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha B. Al-Saeedi.The Department of International Politics organized the event, “Narcotics in Iraq: Security, Social, and Economic Challenges and National Countermeasures”. Speakers included Maj. Dr. Khalid A. Hashim and Capt. Hilal A. Khalil from the Narcotics Directorate.The seminar addressed Iraq’s narcotics challenges and discussed national countermeasures, highlighting the role of official institutions in curbing the issue. Experts engaged in discussions, emphasizing the importance of academic and security collaboration to combat this threat.
