A professor of political science on a committee to establish a private university

Professor Dr. Muhammad Karim Al-Daafi, a lecturer at the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the work of a committee to establish five colleges and scientific departments at Al-Siraj Private University in Anbar Governorate, as part of scientific and academic efforts aimed at developing the structure of higher education.

Dr. Karim mentioned that among the newly established colleges are the College of Pharmacy, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and the College of Law and Political Science, in addition to other scientific and humanities departments.

He added that the committee contributed to evaluating the material and human potential of the colleges and departments to be established, and the extent to which the establishment requirements match the instructions and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The committee also participated in a site visit to the classrooms, laboratories, infrastructure, and university libraries, and provided its technical and academic observations on securing teaching staff, especially in medical specialties.
