A Political Science Lecturer Participates in Preparations for the Upcoming Baghdad Summit

Professor Dr. Qasim Muhammad Al-Janabi, a lecturer at the College of Political Sciences at Al-Nahrain University, participated in the dialogue sessions held at the High Institute for Leadership Development / Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers on April 28-29, 2025.
The sessions aimed to explore Iraq’s future role in joint Arab action, with two sessions dedicated to the political and security axis, and the economic, developmental, and environmental axis.
These dialogue sessions are part of the ongoing preparations for the 2025 Baghdad Arab Summit, which Iraq will chair amid significant political and security transformations in the Arab region.
The sessions brought together a group of government officials, experts, university professors, and non-governmental research centers. The sessions concluded with a set of proposals for decision-makers to contribute to shaping visions and ideas to be presented at the Arab summit to achieve Iraq’s highest interests.
