A field trip was organized by the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies

A field trip was organized by the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies, in collaboration with the Training and Employment Unit, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha B. Al-Saeedi.

The trip to the Iraqi Museum aimed to explore Iraq’s civilization through various historical periods. The delegation included Dr. Fallah Hassan Abdul Mana, Dr. Mustafa Sadiq Awad, Asst. Lecturer Noor Al-Huda Imad Kazem, Asst. Lecturer Mustafa Yasin Taha, and undergraduate students from the department.

This scientific and cultural journey enhanced students’ awareness of Iraq’s heritage. They explored artifacts representing Mesopotamian civilizations, including Assyrian sculptures, stelae, Islamic architectural elements, and art pieces, reflecting Iraq’s rich history. Museum guides provided detailed explanations on the significance of these artifacts.

The Iraqi Museum, established in 1932, is one of Iraq’s largest museums, housing artifacts from Assyrian, Sumerian, Babylonian, and Islamic periods.
