Ministerial Committee for Scientific and Academic Evaluation Visits the College of Political Science

Members of the ministerial committee, formed by the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, visited the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University,to evaluate the scientific and academic status for the academic year (2025-2026) of colleges and departments of Political Science in public universities.The committee was received by Prof. Dr. Abbas Saadoun Rifa’at, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs.The visit comes within the framework of monitoring and developing the scientific and academic progress, and assessing the level of performance and achievements accomplished in the college.The visit represented an important opportunity to highlight the scientific and academic efforts exerted by the college and the continuous development it is witnessing in various fields.The committee members conducted a tour accompanied by members of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Division in the college, and inspected the classrooms, faculty offices, library, and computer lab, and were briefed on the mechanism of the college’s cooperation with other colleges in terms of organizing workshops and courses, educational courses, and field visits for students.The ministerial committee also reviewed safety procedures, the provision of emergency exits, how to control incidents, and other matters.
