Academic Publication: Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed M. Hussein from Al-Nahrain University’s College of Political Science published a paper titled “Russian-Turkish Relations Post-2016 Amid International Changes and New Political Shifts” in the Iraqi Journal of Political Science 📚.The paper explored the evolution of Russian-Turkish relations, noting convergence in some stances and divergence in others, driven by international and regional changes and conflicting interests. It highlighted the significant development in relations under Vladimir Putin, particularly economic agreements, despite ongoing crises. The 2016 Turkish coup attempt marked a turning point, boosting bilateral ties.
