A lecture on cyber extortion was held at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, under the patronage of Dean Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha B. Al-Saeedi.The lecture, organized by the Department of Economic Relations and the National Cybersecurity Center, focused on the phenomenon of cyber extortion, its methods, and prevention strategies. Engineer Ahmed R. Ibrahim from the National Cybersecurity Center presented the lecture, discussing ways to avoid cyber extortion and highlighting relevant government agencies that combat this issue.The session emphasized the importance of awareness and reporting cyber extortion incidents to the authorities.
