Prof. Dr. Emad S. Al-Sheikh Dawud, College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, published a joint research paper with Dr. Zahir Abdullah, Tikrit University, titled “The Genocide Economy: Mechanisms of Transnational Corporate Support” in the Journal of Political Issues, issued by the college in Spring 2026.The paper examines the support provided by multinational corporations to the Netanyahu government and their role in the conflict dynamics during the Gaza War since October 2023. It highlights various forms of support, including arms sales, technological enablement, financial services, and logistical backing, which enabled the military campaign.The research analyzes how this intervention constitutes economic support for genocide and examines the relationship between these corporations and the Netanyahu government’s military project, opening new approaches to understanding the link between violence and multinational capitalism.
