Awareness Activities

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtadha B. Al-Saeedi, and in recognition of the importance of university youth, the Department of International Economic Relations, in collaboration with the Educational Guidance Committee, organized an awareness poster and student activity titled: “Combating Violent Extremism and its Mechanisms: Towards a Cohesive Society to Build the Future Together”.

The activity was supervised by a group of professors:

• Prof. Dr. Akhlas Qasim
• Prof. Dr. Nasreen Riyadh
• Asst. Prof. Dr. Fian Hadi
• Lect. Dr. Ali Abdul-Rahim.

The poster highlighted key pillars to protect society and build student awareness, including social integration, critical thinking, celebrating national diversity, fair economy, and environmental responsibility.

Students from the department participated, expressing their engagement with peaceful coexistence, integration, and acceptance of others, emphasizing these concepts’ importance in their daily and academic lives.
