College of Political Science Wins First Place in Physical Strength

Hassan Kamal Hassan, a student in the Department of Strategy at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, and an international champion and member of the national team in physical strength (bench press), won first place among Iraqi universities in the 70kg weight category.

He achieved a record lift of 120kg under the supervision of the Student Activities Division at our college.

Dr. Saad Muhammad Dakhil, head of the Student Activities Division, stated that Hassan Kamal Hassan won first place among 34 government and private universities in Iraq, at the championship held at Gilgamesh University.

Dr. Dakhil added that this great athletic achievement was made possible by the support and follow-up of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqir Al-Saidi, and his monitoring of the sports and cultural activities enjoyed by students alongside their academic studies.
