Scientific Output

Lecturer Mena Hatem Muhammad, a faculty member at the College of Political Sciences, Al-Nahrain University, published a scientific paper titled “The Iraqi Strategy in Counter-Terrorism after 2020” in the Dujaila Journal, issued by Dujaila University.

The research aimed to explore the opportunities available to Iraq to confront ISIS and re-evaluate the components of its national security based on current circumstances, benefiting from the current experience and the openness that the country has witnessed since 2014, especially after the events of Mosul and the resulting impacts on the regional and international environment.

This aims to enhance the strength of the national government and help Iraq build a military doctrine and strategy that enables it to benefit from changes and achieve its goals as quickly as possible and at the lowest cost.

The study reached a set of conclusions and recommendations that hope to contribute to addressing the problem of terrorism and preventing its emergence and continuation in the future.
