A delegation from the Department of Political Systems and Public Policies visited the Cyber Security Directorate at the Ministry of Interior.

The Department of Political Systems and Public Policies at the College of Political Sciences organized a scientific visit to the Cyber Security Directorate at the Ministry of Interior, with the participation of several PhD students, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Yasser Ali Ibrahim and Prof. Kadhim Ali Mahdi.
Dr. Hassan Hadi Lazim, Director of the Cyber Security Center, delivered a scientific lecture that discussed the most prominent challenges facing government institutions in the field of cyber security, and mechanisms for developing public policies to protect digital infrastructure. The lecture also discussed the latest developments in cyber security in both local and international contexts.
The visit was coordinated directly by Colonel Master Abbas Hussein Sahib, who contributed to organizing and facilitating the visit. The meeting was marked by active scientific interventions from students and professors, and the posing of several specialized questions that reflected a clear interest in the topic of cyber security and its growing role in modern state management.
