“Iraq 2050 Conference

Preparations are underway for the 8th Conference of the College of Political Science, “Iraq 2050,” a major scientific and research event organized by the college every year.
The organizing committee is finalizing research papers and preparing for discussion sessions, while supporting committees are setting up the university’s main conference hall to welcome visiting dignitaries and participants.
The Iraq 2050 Conference will take place on Sunday, April 20, under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Abboudi, and the supervision of the University President, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Aziz Al-Shawi, and the Dean of the College of Political Science, Prof. Dr. Osama Murtada Baqer Al-Saidi.
The conference will feature over 26 research papers on topics such as Iraqi foreign policy, Iraq’s policy in enhancing relations with neighboring countries, sustainable economic development, and diversifying income sources to reduce dependence on oil.
The Iraq 2050 Conference aims to envision the future and create shared visions for the challenges and opportunities that Iraq will face in the coming years, fostering a environment of serious and productive dialogue to achieve sustainable development and enhance social stability.”
