A PhD thesis was discussed at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, titled “Educational Public Policies and Local Community Development in Iraq After 2005: Baghdad Governorate as a Model” by student Mohammed Abdul Karim Nouri.
The thesis aims to analyze the impact of educational public policies on promoting local community development, through a case study of Baghdad Governorate, in light of the political and administrative changes that Iraq witnessed after 2005.
The thesis included a theoretical and field analysis of the concept of educational public policies and their impact on local development, focusing on the challenges facing relevant authorities in formulating and implementing these policies, as well as analyzing the relationship between education and community participation and economic development at the local level.
