A PhD thesis discussion was held at the College of Political Science, Al-Nahrain University, for the student Karrar Sabah Abdul Wahed, titled “Agricultural Public Policies and Sustainable Development in Iraq After 2015.”

The discussion committee consisted of:

The thesis aims to study agricultural public policies and sustainable development in Iraq after 2015, focusing on enhancing food security, optimal utilization of natural resources, combating rural poverty, adapting to climate change, and supporting economic development through agricultural sector development.

The study’s significance lies in highlighting the vital role of agriculture in achieving economic growth, food security, and reducing dependence on imports by achieving self-sufficiency and providing raw materials for local industries.
