Handicraft Competition

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Murtadha Baqir Al-Saadi, and within the framework of promoting student activities and developing creative skills among students, the College of Political Science’s Student Activities Section, under the supervision of the Student Activities Department at the University’s Presidency, organized a university student handicraft competition.
The competition aimed to encourage students to innovate and express themselves through handicrafts, and to promote a spirit of cooperation and participation among students from different specialties. The competition was held in the university gardens and was attended by a large number of students from various colleges.
The competition was organized according to specific criteria, featuring various handicrafts such as traditional crafts, artistic works, and creative designs that used a variety of raw materials. The competition aimed to encourage creativity, promote handicraft culture, develop personal skills, and foster communication, cooperation, and participation.
The prizes were awarded to the winning teams by the Dean of the College of Political Science. The College of Political Science achieved first place, and the participation of the Student Activities Section was a creative achievement, with the participation of graduate and undergraduate students under the supervision of the section’s head, Professor Dr. Saad Al-Dakheel, and all section members.”
