“Field Visit

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Political Science at Al-Nahrain University, Professor Dr. Osama Murtadha Baqir Al-Saadi, and as part of the college’s scientific activities, a group of faculty members and graduate students from the Department of International Economic Relations organized a scientific field visit to the Central Bank of Iraq, Investment and Foreign Transfers Department.

The faculty members and students received a briefing from the Deputy Director General on the mechanism of the Central Bank of Iraq’s work and its role in stabilizing monetary policy in light of changes in fiscal policy and international situations.

The delegation consisted of Professor Dr. Islam Abdul-Jalil Al-Shami, Professor Dr. Ikhlas Qasim Nafil, Dr. Fian Hadi Dakheel, and Dr. Ali Abdul-Rahim Kazem, as well as master’s and Ph.D. students who received information on investments and financial transfers and participated in questions and discussions about the nature of this important department’s work
